Job summary

ThedaCare in Oshkosh, Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated RN to join an expanding surgical services center. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and deliver nursing care across multiple specialties in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have a BSN or be willing to obtain it within five years, hold Wisconsin RN licensure and BLS; schedule includes three 8-hour shifts, no call and no weekends, in a four-operating-room facility partnership with regional surgeons.

Qualifications

• BSN or commitment to obtain within five years.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing accepted for hires prior to 1/23/17.
• Current Wisconsin RN Licensure and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical condition and nursing needs using the nursing process.
• Plan care with the interprofessional team to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide and coordinate care in a multispecialty surgical setting.
• Mentor and engage colleagues to retain expert clinicians.
• Collaborate with physicians and teams to solve problems and improve care.
• Demonstrate and manage risk during crises and emergencies.
• Perform duties as assigned in the clinical setting.
