Job summary

ThedaCare in Shawano, Wisconsin is seeking a patient-centered Registered Nurse (Ambulatory) to provide specialized care across the care continuum with an interprofessional team. You will contribute to evidence-based nursing practice and ensure safe, compassionate care aligned with ThedaCare policies.

Schedule: Mon-Thu 7 am–6 pm, Fri 7 am–5 pm; no weekends or holidays. The role emphasizes collaboration, quality outcomes, and ongoing professional development within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; ADN required.
• Current Wisconsin RN Licensure.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess patient needs and develops a plan of care with the interprofessional team.
• Plans for patient care needs with the team to achieve high-quality outcomes.
• Demonstrates clinical expertise in the assigned specialty and fulfills RN responsibilities age-appropriate and culturally sensitive.
• Identifies ways to improve the patient experience, streamline care, and lower costs while maintaining quality.
• Mentors and supports colleagues to retain expert clinicians.
• Provides consultation and maintains positive relationships with physicians and team members.
• Demonstrates risk anticipation and manages crises effectively.
• Performs well in life-threatening emergencies and coordinates resources accordingly.

Education
