Qualifications

• BSN or commitment to obtain within five years.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing accepted for those hired prior to 1/23/17.
• Current Wisconsin RN Licensure.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
• Two years clinical experience preferred in Cardiology.
• Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess patients and develops a care plan in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
• Plans for the care needs of the patient with the team to provide high quality care and outcomes.
• Demonstrates clinical expertise in nursing care and fulfills RN responsibilities.
• Identifies ways to improve patient experience, streamline care, and reduce costs.
• Contributes to mentoring, engagement and development of clinicians.
• Provides consultation and maintains relationships with physicians and team members.
• Demonstrates risk management and crisis response.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or commitment to obtain within five years

Associate's Degree in Nursing accepted in lieu of BSN for those hired prior to 1/23/17
