Qualifications

• Must have Physician Assistant Bachelor’s Degree (BA-PA).
• Current New York State Physician Assistant License.
• NCCPA Board Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients and families to facilitate adjustment to new health patterns.
• Evaluates treatment plans and modifies them per clinical standards.
• Prescribes medications, equipment, and therapies under supervision and protocol.
• Coordinates clinical research studies or trials and data collection.
• Maintains PA board certification and CME requirements.
• Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary team to implement care plans.
• Supports patient throughput and continuity of care across the continuum.
