Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island in Manhasset seeks a Physician Assistant to provide, coordinate, and assure comprehensive medical care in an ambulatory setting. The PA will perform therapeutic, corrective, and prescriptive measures under physician supervision and with Medical Staff privileges at NYU Langone Health.

Minimum qualifications include a BA-PA, NYS PA license, NCCPA board certification, and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP and professional memberships are preferred.

Qualifications

• PA license, NCCPA certification and BLS are required.
• Graduate degree in Physician Assistant studies (BA-PA).
• Current NYS PA license and NCCPA board certification.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supports mission and clinical service goals.
• Educates patients and families for health adaptation.
• Evaluates treatment plans and modifies per standards.
• Prescribes medications and therapies per protocol.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes.
