Job summary

Texas Children's Hospital is seeking an Ambulatory Services Rep II to serve as the first point of contact for patients, providers and staff at ambulatory clinics in the Austin area. You will assist with check-in/check-out, verify appointments, collect pre-visit payments and confirm insurance benefits and referrals.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years in customer service or 2 years clerical/medical office/healthcare experience.
• Urgent Care/Float experience preferred.
• Must be able to work across multiple locations in and around Austin area.

Responsibilities

• Admission - Check-In/Welcome desk, PARs, Registration.
• Insurance Authorization/Collecting Cash and Deposits.
• Coordination of schedules.
• Charge Entry, Billing and Reconciliation.
• Customer Service / Communication.
• Flowmaster and Room Management.
