Job summary

You will collect pre-visit payments and coordinate with clinic staff on patient flow. Required Medical Assistant certification from the listed credentials, a high school diploma/GED, and 2 years in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification from the listed organizations is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of clinical setting experience required.
• Healthcare and/or Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first contact for patients, providers and staff in ambulatory clinics.

• Collect pre-visit payments and verify patient information.
• Verify benefits and obtain referrals, authorizations, and pre-certifications.
• Support clinic flow and financial integrity of patient accounts.
