Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years direct face-to-face customer service experience.
• 1+ years cash handling or collections experience.
• 6+ months in a medical/healthcare front desk or service role.
• Experience with Windows-based software and Epic Front Desk training or cross-training.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with check-in and check-out, including registration and cashiering.
• Process payments, co-pays, deductibles, and set up payment plans when needed.
• Verify insurance coverage and collect insurance/eligibility information.
• Update patient demographics and ensure accurate information in Epic.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and organized work area.
