Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks an ASR II to assist patients with check-in/check-out, data entry in Epic, and cash handling in a fast-paced clinic. The role emphasizes friendly service and accurate registration and billing tasks.

As part of a national healthcare organization, you will engage with patients, verify insurance, discuss co-pays, and support the Central Business Office with payment plans while maintaining a professional appearance and organized workspace.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of direct face to face customer service experience.
• 1+ years of cash handling or collections experience.
• 6+ months in a customer facing role within a medical/healthcare setting.
• Epic Front Desk Training or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with courtesy to ensure excellent customer service.
• Process check-in / check-out on POS; collect fees and coordinate payments.
• Register new patients and update insurance/demographic information in Epic.
• Communicate wait times and assist with forms and documentation.
• Perform basic cash control and support site manager as needed.
