Job summary

University Health Truman Medical Center is seeking an Ambulatory Care Consumer Engagement and Scheduling Trainer to enhance patient access across ambulatory clinics and centralized call centers. You will develop, deliver, and sustain scheduling education, coach teams, and optimize workflows to improve patient experiences.

The role requires expertise in ambulatory scheduling, provider templates, and consumer engagement technologies, with hands-on training, real-time coaching, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ambulatory scheduling, patient access, clinic operations, or call center environments.
• Strong knowledge of ambulatory scheduling workflows, provider templates, access optimization strategies, and industry best practices.
• Experience training and educating staff on workflows, systems, and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on scheduling education and coaching for schedulers and front desk staff.
• Deliver onboarding and training programs for call center agents and supervisors.
• Maintain expertise in provider templates, scheduling guidelines, and access optimization strategies.
• Develop, update, and deliver standardized training materials and exercises.
• Collaborate with clinic leaders, revenue cycle, and IT teams to align training with operations.
• Analyze scheduling and call center performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
