Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Patient Scheduling Supervisor for Westwood Medical Pavilion - West. This role leads a scheduling team across outpatient clinics, overseeing daily operations, hiring, training and performance coaching to ensure timely, accurate patient appointments and efficient workflow.

You will collaborate with clinic leadership, optimize processes, handle escalations, and ensure compliance with scheduling guidelines and health information management

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Associates degree or 4 years healthcare experience with supervisory experience.
• Experience leading scheduling teams in outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead scheduling team and oversee daily operations across outpatient clinics.
• Hire, train and coach scheduling staff to meet performance targets.
• Ensure accurate scheduling, registrations, pre-certifications and billing workflows.
• Coordinate with clinic leadership to optimize patient flow and communication.
