Job summary

Advocate Health in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking an Ambulatory care Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. Requirements include an RN license, BSN preferred, and at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
