Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a registered nurse to provide and coordinate multidisciplinary clinical care under physician and nursing leadership to meet ACO requirements. You will lead a patient care team in the ambulatory setting, ensuring seamless care transitions.

The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with ADN, Texas RN license, and BLS; preferred BSN and 2 years ambulatory nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program with an ADN.
• RN license (Texas) and BLS required on hire.
• Preferred: BSN and ambulatory nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a POD team to coordinate patient care for assigned patients.
• Ensure staff complete quality metrics during clinic visits.
• Assign duties to maintain efficient workflows and safety.
• Orient and train staff for their duties with supervisors.
• Monitor patient registries and coordinate follow‑ups to close care gaps.
• Respond promptly to patient messages and MyChart requests.
• Duties may include direct patient care, patient records, and research-related tasks.
