Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking an Ambulatory RN Manager for a Multidisciplinary Clinic. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with duties spanning clinical leadership and operations in the ambulatory setting.

The role requires a BSN, RN license in Texas, and at least 5 years as an RN plus 2 years in management. The position emphasizes collaboration with the Medical Director and staff to improve productivity, access, quality, and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree - BSN is required/Graduate of NLN approved nursing program.
• 5 years of experience as a registered nurse and two (2) years of management/supervisory experience.
• Current Texas RN license Upon Hire

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Medical Director, faculty, staff and stakeholders to meet Health System objectives.
• Oversees daily clinical operations in ambulatory settings and ensures adherence to policies.
• Defines roles for licensed nursing personnel and other clinical staff involved in patient care.
• Manages budgeting, staffing, payroll, and performance reviews to meet financial and quality targets.
• Provides direct patient care as needed and mentors nursing personnel.
