Job summary

WH Wheeling Hospital Inc. seeks an experienced registered nurse to join the ambulatory care team. You will deliver direct patient care using the nursing process, assess needs, and coordinate with the health care team to achieve quality outcomes.

The role requires a current RN license (state-specific or eNLC), BLS certification within 30 days, and ongoing professional development. You’ll work in a dynamic setting with potential travel between clinic locations and a 40-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state where services will be provided or a multi-state license through eNLC.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Preferred: BSN; ASN or Diploma acceptable with plan to pursue BSN within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ambulatory settings using the nursing process.
• Perform initial assessments via observation and chart review to guide care.
• Evaluate complex patient situations and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Document care accurately and update the daily care plan with approved algorithms.
• Educate patients and families about health needs and self-care.
