Job summary

RMH Reynolds Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced RN to provide direct patient care in an ambulatory setting, guided by the nursing process. You will assess patients, plan care, and collaborate with the health care team to achieve high-quality outcomes.

Eligibility includes current RN licensure in WV or multi-state license via eNLC and BLS within 30 days of hire. BSN preferred; ASN or Diploma eligible for BSN within five years. Strong communication and teaching skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state where services will be provided or multi-state license via eNLC.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the ambulatory setting using the nursing process.
• Perform preliminary assessment of patients through observation and chart review.
• Evaluate unstable or complex patient care situations and intervene.
• Apply independent nursing judgment for care delivery.
• Educate patients and families and document teaching.
• Participate in orientation and mentoring of new staff.
• Contribute to Performance Improvement activities.
