Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice or multi-state eNLC license, or temporary RN permit as required by state board.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care within the ambulatory setting based on the nursing process and scope of practice.
• Performs preliminary assessment of patients through observation and chart review to guide follow-up with the health care team.
• Evaluates complex patient care situations and facilitates appropriate intervention.
• Implements clinical decisions and uses appropriate resources and colleagues as needed.
• Maintains accurate documentation and participates in patient education for patients and families.
• Assists in orientation and mentoring of new staff and promotes professional development.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred OR ASN/Diploma, BSN within 5 years of hire
