Job summary

Elliot Health System is seeking a Resource Nurse to support a designated unit on a Monday-to-Friday 8 am–5 pm schedule. The role provides direct patient care and acts as a first-line clinical resource for staff, ensuring smooth, real-time unit operations.

The successful candidate will have a BSN or be enrolled in a program, 2+ years in acute care, NH RN licensure, and current life-support certifications. Specialty certification within six months is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN required or actively enrolled in a program.
• Minimum of two (2) years of current experience in an acute care setting; clinical proficiency.
• License to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Hampshire.
• Life support certification (BLS, ACLS) appropriate to patient population.
• Specialty certification required within six months of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and serve as an immediate, first line clinical resource to staff on a designated unit and shift.
• Act as a unit management team member to ensure real time operations of the unit.
• Assist staff with patient care and assume partial patient assignment.
• Guide staff and communicate with the Practice Manager as needed.
• Promote staff performance, teamwork, and timely completion of reviews.
