Job summary

Qualifications

• State criminal background check and Federal background check where required.
• Experience with patient registration and billing processing.

Responsibilities

• Obtain demographic/billing/insurance information and enter into registration/billing systems.
• Manage pre-certifications and authorizations for managed care.
• Prepare consent forms and obtain signatures for privacy notices and treatment.
• Collect deposits, co-payments, deductibles, and other patient payments; issue receipts.
• Prepare patient armbands; assist with payment documentation.
• Balance daily receipts and follow up on system flags.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel patient appointments.
• Verify order completeness against scheduled services.
