Reading Hospital 5th Avenue Pharmacy in Reading, PA is hiring an onsite Pharmacy Technician for a full-time role with 8–10 hour shifts and rotating weekends and holidays. Earn a minimum of $22/hour.

Two years of directly related pharmacy experience preferred.
PTCB or equivalent national certification preferred.
PA Registered Pharmacy Technician license required or Pharmacy Technician Trainee license.
Pharmacy experience with patient communication and insurance processing preferred.

Responsibilities

Create patient profiles in the pharmacy information system.
Communicate with patients, prescribers, and staff to resolve issues.
Enter prescription plan information for processing and adjudication.
Enter new patient prescription information into the system.
Address insurance, reimbursement, and payment issues with providers and patients.
Assist pharmacist with therapeutic consultations and product dispensing.
Deliver medications and supplies through concierge or curbside programs.
