Reading Hospital, part of Tower Health, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in patient care, prepare and dispense medications, and manage automated systems. The role requires PA registration or trainee status, and duties include IV admixtures and regulatory compliance.

Strong communication and customer service skills are essential as part of a collaborative team. Full-time evening shift: M-F 2PM-10:30PM; Every Other Weekend & Every Other Holiday.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician in Pennsylvania or trainee status.
• Pharmacy services support under licensed pharmacist.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in professional responsibilities.
• Works under the direction of a licensed pharmacist.
• Participates in preparation, dispensing, distribution and IV admixtures.
• Supplies and maintains automated technology equipment.
• Packages unit doses and maintains pharmaceuticals.
• Performs duties to ensure regulatory compliance.
