Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician certification – CPhT is required.
• PA State Registered Pharmacy Technician is also required.
• At least one year of retail pharmacy technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions for patients and their families.
• Verify patient insurance and communicate coverage requirements.
• Provide education on insurance coverage for discharge medications.
• Maintaining communication with the clinical pharmacy team.
• Perform duties in accordance with organizational policies.
