Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.
• CPR certification may be required per position.
• One year of health care experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients.
• Answer telephone calls, schedule appointments, and pull/file medical charts as needed.
• Obtain accurate demographic, insurance, and physician information.
• Screen patient data to verify insurance eligibility and identify pre-certification/doctor referral requirements.
• Inform patients about requirements and assist in identifying financial assistance for self-pay patients.
