Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Part-time Patient Services Assistant for Ambulatory Surgery. The role supports the operating room team with escort/transport, STAT errands, and patient safety, reporting to the Patient Care Director. Shift is Day, with on-site presence required, 8:30am-5pm, Monday to Friday, no weekends.

Strong English communication and prior hospital experience preferred. Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED, current BLS, and at least three years in

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• At least 3 years of related hospital/healthcare experience.
• Ability to read and write English with good verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Escort and transport patients within the Operating Room area.
• Perform STAT errands and assist RN/LPN/OR Technician.
• Ensure patient safety and support service standards.
