Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Part-time Patient Services Assistant in Ambulatory Surgery for day shifts. This role supports the Operating Room by escorting and transporting patients, running errands, and aiding nurses and OR staff.

You will help maintain patient safety and comfort while upholding our standards of care. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, current BLS certification, and at least 3 years of hospital or healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification.
• At least 3 years related experience in hospital/healthcare setting.
• Ability to read and write English with good command of verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Escort and transport patients in the Operating Room area.
• Perform STAT errands to support care team.
• Assist Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse/OR Technician.
• Provide for patient safety and comfort.
• Support the hospital's mission and standards for customer service.
