Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Part-time Patient Services Assistant for Ambulatory Surgery. The role supports the operating room team with escort/transport, STAT errands, and patient safety, reporting to the Patient Care Director. Shift is Day, with on-site presence required, 8:30am-5pm, Monday to Friday, no weekends.

Strong English communication and prior hospital experience preferred. Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED, current BLS, and at least three years in

Description

Performs STAT errands. Performs assigned duties to assist the Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse / OR Technician. Provides for patient safety. To support and adhere to the Hospital’s Mission Statement and to perform according to the Hospital’s standards for customer service. 8:30am-5pm M-F no weekends or holidays , 3 , 7.5 hour shifts per week .

Preferred Criteria

• Previous patient care experience in the Operating Room preferred

Required Criteria

• High School diploma or GED
• Current BLS certification
• At least 3 years related experience in hospital/healthcare setting
• Must have the ability to read and write English with good command of verbal English

Salary Range

$26.92-$28.60/Hourly
