Montefiore Nyack Hospital is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for the West Nyack Ambulatory Surgery Center. The role involves scrubbing on orthopedic, pain, and local cases, assisting in case prep, instrument setup, and maintaining a sterile field.

You may also assist the surgeon as a second assistant and support room turnover and supply readiness for subsequent procedures. Qualifications include NBSTSA CST certification, BLS, and 1–2 years of ambulatory OR experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NBSTSA-certified program; CST required.
• 1-2 years ambulatory OR experience preferred.
• Certified Surgical Technologist and BLS required upon hire.
• Strong interpersonal communication and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Scrub on all types of cases in the ASC and assist in prep and turnover.
• Maintain sterile field and set up instruments according to surgeon's preference.
• Assist with room turnover and inventory control of supplies.
• Observe infection-control policies and OSHA PPE.
