HCA Healthcare is seeking an Operating Room Nurse for our ambulatory surgery center. You will provide circulating or scrub support, ensuring safe, efficient patient care as they transfer to recovery.

You will oversee instrument setup, coordinate room flow during cases, assist with anesthesia, and maintain accurate documentation. We offer a robust benefits package and professional development opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Minimum 1 year OR experience, preferably in ambulatory surgery.
• Active RN license as required by state of employment or compact licensure.
• BCLS certification upon employment.
• ACLS as required by facility.
• PALS is preferred, but may be required at some facilities.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Oversee instrument and equipment setup for your OR and anticipate surgeon needs.
• Coordinate and oversee your room during a case as the circulator.
• Facilitate effective and efficient transition between procedures.
• Use proper body mechanics when moving patients to stretchers and tables.
• Manage patient care and medications, including anesthesia assistance.
• Review charts for completeness in line with protocols before/after procedures.
