Job summary

Bay Area Surgicare Center in Webster, Texas, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an Operating Room Nurse RN PRN to join our ambulatory surgery team. You will participate as circulating or scrub, ensuring safe nursing care and smooth patient transfer to recovery.

Responsibilities include OR setup, case coordination, patient care management, and accurate charting. Candidates should have RN licensure and OR experience; BCLS and ACLS are required, with PALS/CNOR preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Active RN license as required by state or compact licensure.
• BCLS, ACLS certifications required or desired by facility.
• PALS is preferred, CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee instrument and equipment setup for the OR and anticipate surgeon needs.
• Coordinate and oversee the room as the circulator during cases.
• Facilitate transitions between surgical procedures and ensure chart accuracy.

Education
