Qualifications

• Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; after 9/1/2025, a BSN is required; an ADN may be approved contingent upon Nursing Leadership with a BSN completed within two years.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical examinations and diagnostic tests and collects health history.
• Records information in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Provides information, counseling, and education to patients and families regarding test results and treatment plans.
• Administers medications and provides wound care; performs triage by phone and in person.
• Assesses and monitors patient responses to treatments, procedures, and anesthesia.
• Interprets patient data and assists providers in determining treatment plans.
