Job summary

NYU Langone Health in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking an Ambulatory Care Nurse (FGP) to support coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies. You will collaborate with licensed providers to develop patient-centered plans.

This full-time day-shift role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, current NY RN license, BLS, and at least two years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• New York RN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Collect patient health history and document in EHR.
• Provide information, counsel, and education to patients and families.
• Administer medications including vaccinations and IV therapy.
• Assess patient responses to treatments and anesthesia.
• Collaborate with licensed providers to determine treatment plans.
• Supervise licensed practical nurses and medical assistants as needed.
• Coordinate on-site activities to support patient care.
