Job summary

Duke Health is seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee ambulatory nursing services at the Duke Health Integrated Practice clinics, including NCEENT sites in Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill and Roxboro, with travel as needed.

You will plan, develop, implement and evaluate ambulatory health care services, mentor staff, ensure quality and regulatory compliance, and collaborate across departments to improve patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience with at least one year of leadership experience required.
• Experience in ambulatory/outpatient clinic operations preferred.
• OR/PACU experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure in NC or a compact state.
• BLS, PALS, ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Manage ambulatory nursing services delivered within the clinic.
• Oversee staffing, orientation, evaluations, training, and scheduling.
• Develop and maintain efficient nursing care delivery reflecting patient and family needs.
• Collaborate with clinicians to advance ambulatory care initiatives.
• Monitor supplies, equipment, and regulatory compliance.
• Support budget planning with Health Center Administrator.
• Lead performance improvement processes and standard policies.
