Job summary

Duke Health seeks a Nurse Manager to coordinate patient care and personnel needs in a Duke Health Integrated Practice Clinic, overseeing NCEENT locations in Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill and Roxboro with travel as needed.

The role requires a BSN, 3+ years nursing experience with at least 1 year in leadership, and NC or compact RN licensure, with BLS/PALS/ACLS certifications. Monday–Friday business hours, relocation assistance based on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience with at least one year of leadership experience required.
• Experience in ambulatory or outpatient clinic operations preferred.
• OR, PACU experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state of NC or compact state.
• BLS, PALS, ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Manage ambulatory nursing services delivered within the clinic.
• Lead personnel activities including orientation, hiring, evaluations, scheduling/staffing, counseling and formal discipline.
• Collaborate in learning opportunities and skill development for staff; ensure effective nursing care delivery.
• Educate patients and caregivers in collaboration with clinical staff.
• Promote nursing education and new ambulatory care initiatives with other nurse managers.
• Identify operational needs; manage supplies and equipment; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in budgeting and fiscal planning for the clinic; ensure excellent customer service.
