Job summary

Nemours Children’s Health in Orlando, FL seeks a Nurse Manager-Ambulatory (Administration) to lead clinical operations across ambulatory clinics, ensure staffing, and uphold quality and patient-centered care.

This role partners with nursing leadership to oversee budget, governance activities, and quality improvement projects, while mentoring staff and sustaining Nemours’ standards of behavior.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Current Florida Nursing license in good standing.
• Current AHA BLS Certification required.
• Minimum of five (5) years Nursing experience preferred.
• Management experience preferred.
• Travel may be required to other clinic locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical operations, quality, and service of assigned ambulatory locations.
• Ensure adequate staffing and address daily operational needs.
• Promote patient- and family-centered care and collaborative governance.
• Lead quality improvement projects to improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Mentor staff and promote professional development.
• Collaborate with Nursing leadership on budgeting and resource planning.
