Nemours Children's Health in Orlando, Florida, seeks a Nurse Manager-Ambulatory to lead clinical operations, quality and service across ambulatory clinics. You’ll ensure staffing, daily operations, and patient- and family-centered care, while modeling Nemours standards of behavior and values.

The role collaborates with the Director of Nursing, drives budget stewardship, supports shared governance, and leads quality-improvement initiatives, coaching staff and advancing regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Master's Degree in Nursing or other field is preferred.
• Current Florida Nursing license in good standing.
• Current AHA BLS Certification required.
• Minimum of five (5) years Nursing experience preferred.
• Management experience preferred.
• Travel may be required to other clinic locations.

Responsabilités

• Promotes a patient- and family-centered care model and supports the nurse-patient partnership.
• Manages assigned Ambulatory Clinic staff and ensures adequate coverage.
• Ensures training of new staff and ongoing staff development.
• Monitors expenses and collaborates on budget with the Director of Nursing.
• Justifies capital and operational expenses with leadership.
• Supports integrated model of care and regulatory readiness.
• Leads quality improvement projects to improve nursing outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Participates in nursing research and evidence-based practice.
• Mentors staff and advocates shared governance and magnet activities.
• Collaborates in committees for nursing planning and policy.
