Nemours Children's Health in Downtown Orlando is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead ambulatory clinics, ensuring clinical quality, safety, and patient-centered care within a dynamic team.

The role requires a BSN (or enrollment with completion in 12 months), Florida RN license, and BLS certification, with ambulatory leadership experience and travel to other locations. Join us to support growth and innovation in pediatric care.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or actively enrolled in a BSN program with a completion date within 12 months of hire.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
• State of Florida Nursing License required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required.
• Ambulatory Leadership experience preferred.
• Travel to other locations is required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care and professional nursing partnership.
• Manages Ambulatory Clinic staff and staffing levels.
• Ensures staff training and ongoing development.
• Hires, counsels, and disciplines ambulatory staff as needed.
• Provides feedback and coaching aligned with Nemours standards of behavior.
• Monitors budget with nursing leadership and justifies capital/operational expenses.
• Supports resource utilization and integrated care models.
• Ensures regulatory readiness and quality improvement participation.
