Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Department of Pediatrics Ambulatory Clinics at the main hospital in Wilmington, DE. This leadership role directs patient care delivery, mentors staff, and oversees resources and staffing to meet clinical needs.

The nurse manager will participate in quality assessment and improvement programs, champion evidence-based care, and lead change in a LEAN-influenced environment while ensuring fiscal stewardship and a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Five years clinical experience, pediatrics preferred.
• Active RN licensure in the relevant state; certification in nursing administration or clinical specialty preferred.
• Current BLS from American Heart Association required.

Responsabilités

• Facilitates, coordinates and directs patient care; provides leadership for designated areas of responsibility.
• Mentors and develops staff; manages the environment of practice.
• Participates in quality assessment and improvement initiatives; supports Lean/continuous improvement and change management.
• Plans, develops and utilizes resources; ensures fiscal stewardship and evidence-based care.
