Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and a Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years of acute care nursing experience within the past 10 years preferred.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the applicable state required; BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/PEARS may be required within one year in select areas.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient care respects rights and cultural needs; promote patient-centered care and confidentiality.
• Advocate for staff and patients; ensure care aligns with expectations.
• Support quality improvement and policy implementation to enhance care and efficiency.
• Promote safety; ensure compliance with hospital policies, QC/PI, and infection control.
• Collaborate on staffing, scheduling, credentialing, and performance management with Nurse Manager.
• Maintain unit inventory; support management reports and budget considerations.
• Perform and maintain competency for point-of-care testing as assigned.
