Qualifications

• BSN required and Illinois RN license.
• 5 years of clinical experience and 3 years of leadership experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and budget management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assumes 24-hour responsibility for daily clinical and administrative functions of the nursing unit to ensure operating efficiency.
• Maintain efficient department operations with staffing, supplies, and equipment.
• Plan staffing requirements for appropriate utilization of human resources by assessing caseload, acuity, and patient complexity.
• Facilitate care delivery aligned with patient-centered philosophy of care.
• Utilize evidence-based practice to improve care processes and outcomes.
• Support care management to improve patient outcomes and coordinate inter-departmental services.
• Prepare and monitor departmental budget to ensure resources for personnel, facilities, and supplies.
