Qualifications

• BLS certification required; AHA preferred for BLS.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical thinking to address patient care needs based on available information.
• Communicates effectively with the care team, patients, and families.
• Assists in onboarding and education of new nursing staff.
• Assists in care navigation for patients and families through education on treatment plans and resources.
• Documents accurately in the EMR and follows clinical policies.
• Rooms patients and records updated clinical information in the EMR.
• Monitors expiration dates and storage conditions of medications and supplies.
