Job summary

Aurora Medical Group (AMG), part of Advocate Health, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support care teams across multiple sites in Illinois. The role involves clinical and administrative tasks, with a standard 40-hour week and some Saturday rotation.

Travel between Aurora, Naperville, and Downers Grove is required to cover multiple locations. Required: high school diploma, MA training or certification with 2 years experience; phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience, to qualify.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
