Job summary

Aurora Medical Group in Colorado is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the care team by performing clinical and administrative tasks vital to patient care.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., 40 hours per week, with hours based on clinic needs. Qualifications include MA diploma or 2 years MA experience (or certified MA with 2 years). Phlebotomy skills preferred, and responsibilities span patient prep, vital signs, EHR documentation, and team care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical assistant diploma or 2 years medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience to qualify.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
