Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in Marlton, NJ seeks a Medical Assistant to support physicians and providers in ambulatory settings. The role includes greets patients with AIDET, patient support, and accurate rooming, vitals, and documentation in the EMR.

Responsibilities include scheduling, coordinating tests and imaging, vaccine administration as needed, and timely communication with multidisciplinary teams. Requires strong customer service, organization, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent experience as a medical assistant in a medical facility.
• EKG, vital signs, venipuncture, capillary, and injection experience.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and guests using AIDET and provides excellent service.
• Performs administrative duties in ambulatory settings including rooming, vitals, and EMR entries.
• Uses MyChart messaging and documents in the medical record.
• Obtains reports, results, and medical records; handles insurance forms and authorizations.
