Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent experience in a medical facility as a medical assistant.
• EKG, vital signs, venipuncture, capillary and injection experience.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guests using AIDET and provide excellent service in ambulatory settings.
• Accurately perform vitals, venipuncture, EKG and document in the EMR.
• Assist physicians/providers, manage scheduling, pre-certification and patient outreach as needed.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Post-secondary medical assisting program (NJAC approved)

Current BLS/CPR certification
