Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for our ambulatory care site. You will support providers during patient visits, perform routine lab tasks, processing referrals, and ensure smooth patient flow with compassionate care.

Ideal candidates have MA training or a high school diploma with recent MA experience, EPIC EMR proficiency, and a collaborative, solution-focused attitude to help improve outcomes for our patient population.

Qualifications

• Graduate or certificate from a recognized medical assisting program.
• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year MA experience in a physician practice within 3 years.
• MA certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas; stock and clean as needed.
• Room patients and maintain efficient flow of provider's caseload.
• Obtain vital signs, EKGs, and/or specimen collection.
• Document care using the EPIC EMR system.
• Perform Point of Care Testing per protocols.
• Process referrals and medication refills.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, providers, and staff.
