Qualifikationen

• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required.
• CMA or RMA certification by recognized national organizations.
• Two years of experience as Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.

Aufgaben

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice, follows policies, and maintains competency in area of specialty.
• Performs rooming/visit tasks: vital signs, med reconciliation, health history, screenings, and health maintenance.
• Assists provider with procedures and performs lab duties including venipuncture and specimen handling.
• Administers medications and vaccines safely following medication rights and policies.
• Manages scheduling, referrals, and insurance authorizations; maintains clean, stocked work environment.
