Job summary

Hugh Chatham Health, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant for the GCMG Eastover OBGYN practice in Charlotte, NC.

You will assist the physician and ACP with patient care, patient intake, documentation, vaccines, medications, and clerical tasks, including appointment scheduling and medical record maintenance. Responsibilities include pre-visit planning, patient rooming, vital signs, medication history review, point-of-care testing, venipuncture, specimen collection, inventory control, and CLIA/OSHA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• CHS competency assessment may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician/ACP with patient care and intake.
• Documentation, vaccine and medication administration, and charting.
• Pre-visit planning, rooming, vital signs, venipuncture, and CLIA/OSHA compliance.
