Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and rooms the patient for exam by obtaining vital signs and documenting health information.
  • Performs laboratory procedures using aseptic technique and standard precautions.
  • Assists physician with procedures and surgeries such as pelvic exams and testing.
  • Administers medications per orders, including immunizations, antibiotics, pain meds, and insulin.
  • Provides patient education and coordinates tests, prescriptions, and referrals.
  • Maintains accurate documentation and communicates patient status to the care team.
  • Performs advanced clinical tasks under supervision as needed.
  • Organizes exam rooms, labs, and equipment; stocks supplies and maintains cleanliness.
  • Demonstrates age-appropriate care and adherence to department policies.
