Job summary

Montefiore Nyack Hospital is seeking a Scrub Tech to join the ambulatory surgery team in West Nyack, NY. You will scrub on orthopedic, GI and endoscopic cases, prepare instruments, and maintain sterile fields throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• 1-2 years ambulatory OR experience preferred.
• CST Certification required.
• AHA BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for procedures using surgeon's preference cards to ensure supplies and equipment are ready.
• Assists in maintaining the sterile field and room turnover.
• Passes instruments to surgical team safely without distraction from the operative field.
• Maintains infection control and PPE adherence throughout procedures.
• Supports instrument setup and organization for GI/endoscopic cases.
