Job summary

SCA Health is hiring an Endoscopy Technician at our ambulatory surgery center in New York. You will assist with GI endoscopy procedures, support the endoscopist, maintain a sterile field, and help ensure patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll join a collaborative team that values quality care, safety, and continuous improvement. Requirements include a High School diploma, GI tech experience preferred, and BCLS certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• GI Tech experience preferred.
• BCLS certification or documentation within 90 days of employment required or expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist endoscopist during GI endoscopy procedures and maintain patient safety.
• Assemble, arrange, and maintain sterile supplies and instruments for procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure equipment is ready and functioning.
• Provide accurate hand-off reports to the care team about patient condition and response to care.
• Participate in quality review and performance improvement activities.
